An 18 karat gold brooch with blue enamel. Using a microflame torch, The enamel glass was balled up at the end of gold yarn (fabricated by myself from ultrafine gold wires) and woven into gold textiles by bobbin-lace. Five such lace pieces are sewn as layers inside a square made of another gold stripe which was plain woven by a loom. The textile object was further sewn onto the brooch frame. Starting from the ultrafine wire drawing, the whole process costed about six months.
