Dear Ramsay, Thanks! And you are right that I was holding my breath, LOL The re-firing during soldering actually turned the blue in the tail a tiny bit brown, but not so much it was ruined.
I'm a little slow in commenting on R is for Raven but I remember how impressed I was with it when I first saw it the SNAG Enamel display last Spring. I didn't connect it with Grains of Glass until I spotted it on your photos. A really neat bit

A really neat bit of soldering considering how close the enamel in the tip of the tail was to the solder joint with the bezel. I expect you were holding your breath! Ramsay
