Screen printing

  • I got this E-Mail. If anyone is interested, I can upload also the leaflet.

    Dear Edmund,
I have worked at the University of the West of England for many years and specialise in water-based screen printing, ceramic decal printing and related chemistry. I also organise and run many workshops and summer schools in the UK and internationally. Recently I returned from a visit to Australia where I organised and ran workshops and demo’s at ‘The National Art School’ in Sydney and ‘Griffith University’ in Brisbane. I did the same in the US last April running a series of demonstrations and lectures for educators and printmakers.
If you or any friends or colleagues are interested and would like to set-up a water-based screen printing area you could join us at the Giggleswick Summer School 2012. This is the 11th summer school we have organised at Giggleswick School. The course is for beginners through to experienced printmakers and ceramic printmakers. This summer school will help you develop your vitreous enamel work with a focus on the creative application of enamel (waterslide) transfers/decals and direct screenprinting on both steel and copper. The skills you will learn can be applied at both large-scale and small-scale. I have attached the Giggleswick leaflet but if you need more information please contact me on +44 (0) 7973 776 019.
    Information leaflet attached.
    Yours faithfully
