Yes, this piece is made almost completely from metal clay. I used fine silver wire for the setting and the chain, but everything else was clay.

Thanks for the complement Chris! I had originally intended to enamel the back of the setting, but when I was finished with the blackbird texture there wasn't enough depth for much more than patina. I learned a lot from this piece, and I know I'd do a few things differently if I tried it again.
