I learned a VERY IMPORTANT lesson on this piece....don't rush and fire it before the wet enamel is completely dry. Unfortunately, the bottom (background) layer cracked, the moisture got inside that and bubbled up causing the top layer to also crack and become loose. I tried healing it, but it just make it worse, so now this is on a stand in my guest bedroom. Unless I can stabilize that top layer with some kind of adhesive or epoxy, I can't frame it or sell it.
