No I just laid it on very thick all in one layer. The colors were fired first then clear mixed with adhesive and laid in place, dried and fired. No cutting involved.

Did you slice the sections after it was fired? I think that is what they said they did in the book. They sliced it with copper I think. Is that correct? Geeze. That is thick....
