Thanks, Trish! First I marked where the outer bezel and the stone were going to be on the piece of Argentium metal that was going to be the backplate. Then I fused pieces of Argentium casting grain and some fine silver flakes to the piece. Because the setting is Argentium I didn't need to use solder. Patina doesn't go very black where there is solder so this was a good use of fusing. (I did use solder to attach the two bezels.)
