Enamels used are Ninomaya and old vintage thompson colors, all ground from lump. Same materials my students will be using at Enamel conference workshops coming up soon in September. Techniques are cloisonne' (one simple wire creates the horizon line) and then I'm basically painting the enamels over handmade silver foils and commercial gold foils. Also seed beads and threads. Very high final polish using Lortone Beaver lapidary equipment, and set in a constructed bezel frame of fine/sterling silver and 22k gold, which was made by a talented goldsmith who has worked with me for many years, Joanne Hernandez. less
