This is all fabricated.  The sterling leaves on the bottom are roller textured sheet with square wire edges and flattened dots of sterling.  The stem is heavy round wire, maybe 8 or 10 gauge, that I forged with a hammer and tapered with a file.  Lots

This is all fabricated.  The sterling leaves on the bottom are roller textured sheet with square wire edges and flattened dots of sterling.  The stem is heavy round wire, maybe 8 or 10 gauge, that I forged with a hammer and tapered with a file.  Lots of construction and soldering!  Each leaf pair is reinforced on the back with a support of thinner square that spans from the base where the leaf is attached to the stem, across the stem, then to the base of the leaf across from it.  Very sturdy!
