My work is a rendering in abstracticated symbolism of the things that touch me. Nature and landscape usually are the source of inspiration for my enamels.
I create 2-d and 3-d wall objects of enameled copper, whereby the copper beforehand is being transformed resulting in relief.
As I always prefer to work with larger material then my kiln contents permits, objects are being built up in segments and finished with dated zinc.
Sometimes glass is also being used in the process.
Twice I participated in the Biennale l’art de l’email in Limoges.
I expose in galleries and musea in the Netherlands and European countries.
In September 2009 in Morez (Fr) and in december 2009 Florence ( It) Biennale Internazionale Dell Arte Contemporale.
My work is continuously exposed in the Museum for sheetglass- and enamelart in Ravenstein.
