I use or liquid thompson enamels and apply it in several fires until cover it all, or any enamel mesh 60 or 80 wet with a dense glue, I used a "CMC" coat mixed with destiled water and "formol" I am not sure of the name in english, but any good enamel glue will work, and I treat it like a small plique jour, joining the enamel by capillarity.
