I use Schauer enamels. After counter enamel, I fired (920° in – 900° out) transparent enamels, then I applied red-orange-yellow opaque enamels (well kneaded with a water/glue solution) using a brush and a palette knife, making some ‘vortex effect’. I applied the opaque enamels somewhere in a thick layer, somewhere in a thin layer. When well dried, I made a sgraffito and then fired (around 880°) .
