Thank you Aditi. My background is an encaustic painting on Mylar which is between 2 sheets of plexiglas in the frame. Then the "wings" are 3D enamels on copper which I screwed through the plexiglas and the painting with nuts and bolts. The mylar is semi-transparent so you can see the light through it..either from a window or a tiny bright light behind it. They can be hung on a wall as well as standing on a shelf.
You do fantastic work...very unusual and creative. It looks very difficult.
