Hi Trish, Thanks for asking about my enamel. The bird is 3 dimentional and it is attached with a nut and bolt to 2 sheets of plexiglas with a picture of the woods between the plexi's. The frame is just framing the woods with the plexiglasesl, but not ther bird. Usually my pictures between the glasses are encaustic paintings but this one was not.
I am making a large number of winged creatures like that....butterfliesl, birds etc. for my show in June. Most of them are framed in 6 x 8 frames and a few are a little larger.
This is unrelated to my enamels but most everyone calls me Mimi and I probably should not have put in Myriam....can it be removed? No one calls me Myriam. Sorry. If it is too much trouble, don't worry about it.
This is a great site and I look at it a lot and have told several enameling friends about it.
Thanks for the info Mimi,
Its a fabulous piece of work and I know everyone will be asking the same thing.

Hi Myriam,
Is this piece 3 dimensional? Could you tell us a little more about it. Love it!
