Hi Judy, yes the house is rivetted to the frame, normally I cut out little lugs which I then drill for the rivetts and I dont enamel those bits, I'm fairly sure that is what I did here. I also stick a little bit of blue tack inbetween the enamel and the frame while I am hammering to protect the enamel- you can still see a bit in the top left corner..
