Hi Trish, thank you again for your lovely comment. Painting on a white basecoat, I just draw the colours towards the centre using an oil medium and blend in until there's no colour. There is a bit of reflection off the enamel too on this one as

There is a bit of reflection off the enamel too on this one as I'm new to photographing pieces - I'm finding it difficult to take a shot with no glare!
