I worked in vertical rows, five 18 gauge tiles, at a time, and lined them up with the next row to make sure that the design was in register all the way along. I very rarely use flux on its own - I like to create my own colours rather than off the shelf. All the colours are transparent except for the area on the left where I used a stencil with an opaque off-white with transparent brown over to create the effect of rocks. Also the mountains in the background with transparent blue over. less

Thanks for your comments. It took five and a half months to create and assemble minus 2 weeks that I attended the enamel conference in Cincinnati.

Reminds me of some of the beautiful scenery in Nevada and Utah...This must have taken a while to create!...I like the cut-a-way mountain tops and how it fits the curve of the room...fabulous!
