This was made with 22G copper. I hammered the upper part to look like waves. I always use transparent lead free enamel as a base but very occasionally LF flux. I mix different colours of lead free transparents to give me the effect I want, then the lead bearing over the top gives the brilliance.

Mary, this is just really magical! I absolutely love it! It reminds me of sitting on the beach in Cozumel watching the water recede from the sand and the sun dancing out on the waves coming in...really really beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
This is fabulous - could you please tell us the process, the metal and the type of enamels for each of your pieces. If it is copper sheet, what gauge do you use?

This is fabulous - could you please tell us the process, the metal and the type of enamels for each of your pieces. If it is copper sheet, what gauge do you use?
