With regard to St.Marks, I seem to remember there was a lot of firescale involved! At first, I sieved on flux to retain some areas of copper but this burnt out. After a lot of stoning, I drew/engraved the design into the burnt enamel with a Dremel. I then used liquid metallic gold enamel, and scraffito for the building and pulled it down through the lower area to create the flood reflections.
I am sure I could not repeat it! One of the rare occasions when a disaster turns out OK. The size by the way is 27 x 23 cms.
I think this site is such a good idea, so many artists work away in solitude and now there is a chance to see what is being produced and learn so much. Is there a possibility of members being able to write a sentence or two about their photo? It would be great to know the size of panels, for example or very brief description of materials or methods.
