Dear Gabor, the boxes are from the late 1970s. It was made by an old metal spinner, one of the last German handicraftsman of his guild. One could him a sketch give, and if possible, he translated it in the metal spinning technique. At the most boxes he integrated the frames and shrouds, inside and outside, direct by the spinning. So no soldering was necessary. If he liked the design, he makes 5 items free for you, if you cede him the design. By the tea-boxes the upper frame is pressed during the spinning. The ground had to solder by yourself. This box and also the ball-box "Foreign planet" in the foto-galery are made by the same artist. He has a lot of beautiful and for enamelling perfect technical designs. Unfortunately it gives in Germany no successor.
Thank you Tina.
