As a writer with a kiln - I thought, 'why not use enamels as book covers?' Here is my latest. A memoir by Lt Mann written long ago (1952) - I've worked through the yellowed foolscap pages and have just published his story in the late hero's own name.

Enamelling has paused because the galleries are closed (some may not reopen). So I'm writing a lot. My sea-going days memoir: "The Best of Days" set in the 50/60s is doing well enough to cover the gas and electric bills for this bungalow.
