Many thanks, Trish for the nice comment. This is an attempt to use the many old decals I have in stock in a more modern way. I fired the decal on a white base coat and then used a single layer of medical gauze as a stencil. I sprayed the piece with holding agent and carefully laid the gauze on top . Then I sieved a layer of 200 mesh dark red opaque over it, removed the gauze carefully and fired. I repeated this with a 200 mesh medium brown.
