Hi Trish. It was based on recipe someone gave me but adapted it to suit me. So inside it was soft white leaded first and sgrafitto, then deep water blue trans unleaded, then ivory unleaded and outside it was soft white leaded, pastel blue trans u/l, ivory u/l and a fine layer of another soft white. I fired both ways up, face up when doing inside and face down when doing outside but on second to last firing the bowl was facing down and there was an incident in that enamel slid down so far some landed on kiln shelf LOL. I shut down kiln and left the bowl to cool right down then VERY gently tapped the rim with a hammer to clear most of it, I took a chance and fired again with bowl facing up and the enamel slid back down to what was the final piece, even though there are dark areas and a slight bulge of enamel in one area it still has the enamel so didn't risk firing further and anyway I was pretty pleased with result.
The kiln was at 890-900°C and I used a wire mesh and a bit of fibreboard depending which way up bowl was when firing.
Did you apply your soft white leaded as the first layer then the blue transparent ? At what temperature did you fire the bowl and do you stand it up or fire upside down?
Ah, thank you so much for your kind comment :0)

I can't see it, but you must have some great pull through in the inside with the Leaded bubbling through the unleaded - its a beautiful bowl -
