6th EXPERTS' MEETING ON ENAMEL ON METAL

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION of ABSTRACTS; 2nd NOVEMBER, 2015
Following the success of the meetings in Germolles, Rome, New York, Barcelona and London, the next Expert's Meeting on Enamel on Metals Conservation will be held in 2016 at the National Museum in Warsaw.
The National Museum in Warsaw, originally founded in 1862 as the Museum of Fine Arts, is currently one of the oldest art museums in Poland. Its collection numbers around 830,000 works of art from Poland and abroad, from ancient times to the present, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, coins, as well as utilitarian objects and design and enamel collections frange from Asian to European decorative artefacts.
We are currently accepting abstracts for oral presentations and posters. Contributions may cover all aspects of the conservations, history, technology and science of enamels on metal. Conference language will be English. The meeting will consist of 2 days of oral presentations and visits to collections. Posters will be exhibited during the length of the meeting and a time allocated for a short (5 minutes) presentation of each poster. The meeting is scheduled just before the Interim Meetings of the ICOM-CC Glass & Ceramics WG taking place in Wrocław, Poland.

Times New Roman size 12; up to 300 words, including title, author(s) name(s) and address of corresponding author. Please state in the document if the abstract is for oral presentation or poster. Deadline 2nd November 2015
