    Hallo,
    I found two older enamel books in German language from 1906 and 1925 and the English one "On the Theory and Practice of Art-Enamelling upon Metals" by Tait, Hugh, dated 1906.

    You might also buy "Dictionary of Enamelling - History & Techniques by Erika Speel - perhaps you might find it in the library - you might also send an email to Tom Ellis from Glass on Metal and ask if you can contact Erika Speel who contributes to the magazine and pick her brain.

    Hola! con el libro que yo estudié se llama Historia de los esmaltes, con especial mencion de los españoles by Victoriano Juaristi, editado en 1933. 

    En el 2008 se editó por Parramón....EL ESMALTE Al fuego sobre metales de  Núria López-Ribalta y Eva Pascual i Miró

    i am looking for books or references on history of enamel its origin and how it had been developing. iv got some from net but they r not enough...its my thesis subjet, so i need a lot of good information. if any1 is aware of it...plz let me know. thank u
