Gosh, I saw them somewhere in my information files - I will get right on that for you!
Trish, your email just popped in, and I answered it just as I saw the 'do not reply' part. So I don't know if I'm repeating myself here. Sorry if I am.
I was saying that my lady supplier has replied but forgot to attach the catalogue to her email so I'll have to wait until she answers my reply saying - er - you didn't attach the attachment. I'm always doing that myself- yes Chris, my brain must indeed be Googled to pieces.
Chris, I can't find any source either. There are a few in the back of the Milton Bridge catalogue, but they're also more like very shallow dishes. The lady I spoke about who has the bowls is an enameller and tutor who comes from the US originally, although she now lives and teaches in the UK. She maybe gets the bowls from the US. I don't know if she would sell the bowls other than to ex-students, I don't see why not. If and when I get the catalogue, maybe we can work something out. Or maybe Trish will be able to find something. Whereabouts are you?
This guy is from Slovakia, but he is good with copper.

If you want translate something, just ask.He lives not far from me so I can manage to buy or send the items abroad.

Hi Rudolf
Thanks for the link - he certainly seems to have a lot of stuff. But I've now heard from Pat Johnson, who has sent me a catalogue of her bowls. As she's in the UK, it will be easier for me to get them from her - but thanks anyway for your help.
For Chris and anybody else searching for copper bowls, you can contact Pat at patjohnson51@goolemail.com . Apparently she is a member of Grains of Glass! It would be good to have her on the list of UK suppliers, so I'll ask Trish to do that.
Trish, thank you for sending me the list of UK suppliers. The site that said it was a bowl supplier seemed to be one of those odd websites where you get on to it and it doesn't appear to have anything to do with what it was supposed to be. Or maybe I missed something.
I don't know if you'll see my reply to Rudolf, so I'm sending this as a reply directly to you - not completely sure yet how the whole thng works!
I've been in contact with Pat Johnson, who is a previous tutor of mine and can supply copper bowls - don't use the email address from her website, but patjohnson51@googlemail.com . She is a member of Grains of Glass, which I didn't know. Would it be possible to put her on the UK Suppliers list as a source of copper bowls?
Thanks
Lynsey
Chris, I don't know if everybody sees everything on this thread, or I have to reply to you before you see it - so I'm sorry of you already know about this.
You can get copper bowls from patjohnson@googlemail.com . She has a catalogue with a good selection and is in the UK. Hope this helps. Lynsey
I know I'm a bit late, but I've recently seen some on the new W G Ball website.
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the information. I have bought supplies from them before but they didn't stock bowls at the time. This is a good addition to Pat's bowls as most are flatter and more 'plate-like', so now we have a good selection of both. Reasonably priced too.
Lynsey
Hi Lynsey, Milton Bridge in Stoke on Trent do copper bowls as well as enamels and tools www.milton-bridge.co.uk 01782 274229. They have quite a good selection and are really friendly. Good luck
Hi Marilyn
Thanks for the information. I have got a Milton Bridge catalogue and saw what they have, but got mine from Pat Johnston in the end as she has a better selection and reasonably priced too. I can recommend her - I think she's on the suppliers list.
Thank you for your interest though.
Does anybody know where I can get small copper bowls in the UK? I have tried Pat Johnson, who was the only source I knew about, but so far no reply. I have Googled myself senseless (which wasn't difficult). :-D
Any information would be much appreciated. Many thanks. Lynsey x
