This is a great start! and a lot of work I am sure - Did you hand saw the circle - perhaps you can have it machine cut so the circle has perfect edges - and I would put a finishing knob over the bolt that holds the hands on-

Can't wait to see the next one!

It was cut with tin snips for the face of the clock. I cut the face out before I ordered the clock mechanism. As soon as i received the mechanism, realized that the mech would be hanging out on each side. Had to make it 3D to hide the clock mechanism. Whiched worked out cool cause then the arms will rotate in the center of the clock which was unplanned but not a bad outcome. Lots of hours and sleepless nights.

Hi Shawn, welcome in the exclusive circle of enamel clock makers! My approach to hide the mechanism is to use box like structures, but your method is also interesting. Keep going, it is an endless but challenging game!

Still have yet to mount the hands on the clock, but this was my final product, lots of learning curves with this one. So i am hoping the next one should be smooth sailing in theory.
