Hi Diane
I live in North Carolina of USA. Atlantic ocean side = eastcoast.
Thanks for asking : )
Hi everyone. I am so new at this and need to start somewhere. So if anyone has a second hand small kiln they want to sell, preferably on east coast, Im all ears. I attended a weekend workshop recently and just fell in love with enameling on copper.
I tried the pure silver and copper clays too. Wow times sure have changed. Instant gratification with the silver! Nice but I need to practice ALOT on copper with enameling. A front door small kiln good for enameling & firing metal clays would be great to have, plug in 110 outlet type.
I inherited a huge box of colored enamels from my stepfather years ago. Ive been lugging them around for 25yrs. Some have samples he made. Just beautiful colors. He was a prof glass blower for precision instruments. Had great talent. So, I really want to create works of art with the enamels and need the right tools. I will persue more training as we go along here. I am so glad this place exists because for sure, I will be asking alot of questions down the road.
Have a nice day.
Pauline
