Maybe a silly question...I know you can use liquid enamels for dipping but can you paint with them? Are they torch friendly? Are they used in this way also? I've used the acrylic enamels in the small tubes however they don't seen to like the torch. Water colours are great but looking for a different painting medium.
I buy enamels by the pound, mix the powder the the constancy I want. I use a spray gun for applying the enamel. If dipped, the enamel will be to heavy. For painting, Thompson makes a paintable enamel which really works good. I use it all the time depending on the texture I want. If you want to paint the enamel, get the paintable enamel. I haven't used the torch. I use my kiln. My projects are large, up to 2' wide and 14" deep. I hope his answers your questions,
