Trish, I just want to assure you that my projects are as large as I have stated. This piece uses almost 12 sq. ft. of cold rolled steel. It weighs between 12-15 lbs. This piece has a full enameled base 2' X 2', with two full sections separating the top and bottom halves. The bottom hand is almost 1' long. Spot welded braces through out the project holds the separated pieces in place. All my projects are built in the same way. Some projects as my tree took close to 40 hours to put the completed fired pieces back together. So when I tell you my projects are as large as they are, please believe me , they are. Thank you

I'm trying to write an article for Glass on Metal with the help of John killmaster explaining a new process I have come up with on how to clean and prep the steel for the ground coat. I have also come up with a new way of applying the ground to assure complet coverage on both side on the first firing. This alows for a lighter and more complet application of the enemel.
