No flux Trish, this is a couple of shades of blue turquoise straight onto the fine silver. The keum boo is gold foil burnished onto the hot silver - helps that this is a separate piece though, if I am doing keum boo onto an enamelled piece I do it after enamelling and heat up slowly and leave to cool naturally after (no quenching)

Did you use a clear flux under the blue? and did you apply gold foil?
