At that time, I did not know how to enamel and hand painted my petals. I use to shop old flea markets for old diadems and then reproduce them. I shall take some photos and share them with you. Over the years I had a few clients who brought me antique pieces passed down from their families - one that I remember so well, was a family from Norway, with an inlaid Sterling Silver crown which every bride wore through 300 years. Another bride I had, brought me a veil that was 150 years old and passed through the family. Your piece brought back some great memories. less
