I alternate to ensure the enamel is right in the centre of the wall height so that it gives that 'dished' look on both sides. The support consisted of a tapered circle cut out of soldering board, tapered enough to just hold the bowl rim and a 'just in case' narrow column under the centre. Took a few tries to get it right!

What an accomplishment. I know how to do this process on a flat surface, but have never tried a curved surface. How to you fire it?
