i made a back brass plate that has all the pin/pendant hardware soldered on it.  the screws go all the way thru the back plate.  there are 2 tabs sawed in the brass plate and they fold up and with the 2 screws, hold the piece on.  the edge of the head

i made a back brass plate that has all the pin/pendant hardware soldered on it.  the screws go all the way thru the back plate.  there are 2 tabs sawed in the brass plate and they fold up and with the 2 screws, hold the piece on.  the edge of the head of the screws acts as a ledge sort of and the piece slides under them.  hope that helps.
