The decal technique that I taught at the conference was the beginning of the design on the top.I then over painted with sunshine colors and probably put another decal on top and then sugar fired for the matte finish .Hard to see in this pic
The decal technique that I taught at the conference was the beginning of the design on the top.I then over painted with sunshine colors and probably put another decal on top and then sugar fired for the matte finish .Hard to see in this pic but the blue opaque base also has a decal on top. I sold this recently to a collector in Houston.The eyeshadow is really some enamel.
The green dome is also a decal but over gold foil.
Working hard on my new grouping for my one person show at the Mesa Art Center beginning in April.
This is really fascinating work. Love the colours in all your work and the humour.
