Here is the finished bunny I was making the plique-a-jour wings for. I did not design it! I was commissioned to make the wings. They are made on Palladium white gold which was a dream to work with for plique, since it doesn't expand and contract much when heated. My sterling samples all had tiny hairline cracks - but there were none in these final wings.

The palladium white gold went very black as I fired - but the oxide was not loose - so it didn't interfere with me. The jeweller dealt with cleaning them when I was done (I believe with sulfuric acid - it was impervious to Sparex)
