enamel bronze

Are you sure you are actually enamelling on bronze and not brass?

Bronze is copper and tin, brass is copper and zinc. It's the zinc in brass that causes the trouble with enamels.

I've found that some suppliers are very inaccurate about what they call bronze.   I've seen brass sold as bronze.

    Hello

thank you so muche for replying me.

My supplier told me that in bronze he put copper, tin and zinc also.

I try to make him change and make other samples.

    thank you

    I need to enamel bronze.

Till now my samples have not been so succesfull.

I try with Shcauer and Soyer also with liquid enamel. Most of the time the enamel goes off when the piece get colder.

Did any body can help me?

    thank you
