When a tiny piece of silver or gold is heated to melting point with a tip of a blow torch the metal pulls itself into a perfectly round ball.These balls are then placed on a silver or gold sheet with a mixture of water and hyde glue, then slowly heated with a torch until the surface metal begins to flow and adhere the balls.
