Applying Transparent Enamels to copper

  • November 22, 2011 11:11 AM EST

    Dear Theresa,

Woke up in the Uk today on my 76th birthday and read your comments - your very kind remarks are better than a birthday present - thank you.

I did say in my paper that opaque enamels do not need a flux undercoat - however many opaque reds do turn brown unless on a flux base.

    very best wishes,

    Raymond Jackson

    Hello Raymond

This is probably a bolt out of the blue, since the last activity on this thread was 7 months ago!  Nevertheless, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for this comprehensive piece of work - plus your work on flux and copper. This information will help me enormously in my new endeavours!

    Love

    Dear Maggie,

Thank you for your response and I am pleased that my paper has been of some help. I know it can be a bit daunting when starting out but I am sure you will soon find it second nature but still challenging!

    Kind regards,
    Raymond
