I really enjoy looking at this portrait.  You have given him a bit of attitude that is very pleasing and necessitates further viewing.  the limited color pallet is great, the fur is beautiful and almost abstract in areas. the abalone on the bale is a nice intense focal point after getting lost in those eyes.  Congratulations on a leopard Mona Lisa.
