The design is the decal technique that I will be teaching at the conference with a limoges overpainting and a sugar fire. I drilled the holes for the pearls before enameling and they have a screw on the bottom of each bezel that has a nut on the other side .The twisted wire has wire posts that are soldered on the bottom of the wire and fit through the top plate that the enameled formed piece sits on--it is kind of like a trapped bezel.
Jan, could you explain to the members how you applied your design and how you added the pearls? Its fabulous - what are the materials? how was the twisted wire attached?
thanks so-I have a new grouping i am working on for a show in Mesa Arizona that will have an opening during the SNAG convention.
