Oh, one other thing, for grisaille enameling I tried sesame oil with a drop of glycerin as you suggested but it seems not working for me. The enamel mixture I made is curdling and slipping away from brushing so it is difficult to smoothing out...
I think I’m using 200~300 mesh powder - I'm not sure I do not have a really fine sifter to measure my enamel powder. I sifted my enamel with 150 mesh sifter then I grinded it really finely.
What mesh of enamel are you using for grisaille?
I do use 80 mesh very lightly for an initial sifting for making outline of design, then I use the fine enamel mixture I made it as above, I tried mixing enamel with lavender oil, olive oil, CMC, water etc. However I'm not satisfied with any of these so far but hope you may help on this, too...

Hi Isha, I think you are using too much of oil or too concentrated glue. CMC should not be more than 5% concentration. Quarter tea spoon of CMC is enough for a liter of water. If using oil try as little quantity. Try few more times and you will be successful Regards Vivek

Vivek, that is a wonderful tutorial. Your pictures were so clear and spoke volumes about the process, while the written instructions were so clear and concise. Congratulations!
I'm printing this out so it doesn't get lost in cyberspace.
